Please Help Me Solve This Hunger Problem for Our Veterans
No one should go hungry. Not ever.
When my youngest brother died of starvation at six years old, it changed my life forever. In that moment, I made a promise—to fight hunger wherever I found it.
Years later, with just $48.50, my wife and I cooked meals for people experiencing homelessness. It was a small act, but it mattered. That moment became something bigger.
Today, that work has grown into The Elisha Project, helping feed up to 150,000 families each year.
And yet, the fight is not over.
I am a Marine veteran. And it stays with me—seeing too many of our veterans, men and women who served this country, still struggling. Hungry. Homeless. Overlooked.
So we built something more.
EP4Veterans is a regional model designed to deliver food, essential goods, and dignity to veterans across New England through a growing network of Empowerment Centers.
The model works.
